Today is my Grandma Doris’ (Grandma D) Birthday, she passed away in 2017 suddenly in her sleep. I still do music personally just for me, and I made this song just to process my feelings in 2021 and get some things off my chest that I wish I had more opportunities to tell her personally. Didn’t play it for anyone until my Pops 70th birthday last year. It was a special moment for us.

I wanted to share this with some family (near and far) just so y’all know how much she was loved.

I like to use art still to process when people that I love close to me pass. Everyone has their own way. One thing that is for sure, as we all get older, we all experience deep loss.

For anyone who listens and maybe this resonates with, blessings 🙏🏾 I hope taking the opportunities to give people their flowers is something we all can be more intentional with.
